The CEITATECH MDU 2.5GE+CATV+24FE POE+SFP switch features 24 Fast Ethernet ports supporting network speeds of 10/100 Mbps. It supports Power over Ethernet, meaning it can power connected devices (such as IP cameras, wireless access points, or VoIP phones) via Ethernet cables, eliminating the need for separate power supplies for these devices. As a multi-resident unit (MDU), it’s a network access device (typically an ONU – Optical Network Unit) often deployed in Fiber to the Building (FTTB) scenarios, such as apartment buildings, hotels, commercial buildings, or dormitories, providing high-speed internet and other services to multiple users via a shared fiber optic backbone.

Introduction

This 2.5GE+CATV+24FE PoE+SFP (XPON MDU) is a broadband access device designed to meet the needs of telecom operators in FTTO (office), FTTD (desktop), FTTH (home), SOHO, and video surveillance access. Based on a high-performance chip solution, this ONU supports Layer 2 functionality and provides data services for carrier-grade FTTH applications. All 24 FE ports support PoE power supply, enabling power supply to devices such as IP cameras and smart speakers via Ethernet cables. This ONU features high reliability, ease of management and maintenance, and provides QoS guarantees for various data services. It complies with multiple international technical standards, including IEEE 802.3ah and ITU-T G.984.
